Enzo Lefort, French multiple world foil champion, welcomed me into the French National Sport Institute (INSEP). Making his people proud, from Guadeloupe to France, he helps to highlight French fencing. I had the pleasure of following him during his physical preparation and his crazy race to the Tokyo and Paris Olympics. This photo series exposes the strength, solitude, and sensitivity of a passionate person. Hidden behind his mask, his breastplate, his fencing pants, and his foil, I laid my eyes on his body as a working instrument.
